Enrolment applications are now open for Season 1, commencing 8th of Feb 2025 (see below).
We invite anyone aged approximately 10 to 18 (years 6+) to audition for a place in our intermediate, advanced, and changed-voiced choirs.
Primary-aged singers who would prefer not to audition, please check out our beginner choir – Smalley.
All prospective members of WAYV (except for those seeking to join our beginner choir) are required to undertake an audition designed to measure:
We ask all auditionees to prepare a short song in any style which comfortably displays their vocal range and ability.
All auditions are conducted in a formal but relaxed manner and our artistic team are very supportive of all ages and levels of experience. Our auditions are generally 20 minutes, however, we understand that everyone handles auditions differently. Some sessions may run longer to allow the singer more time to feel comfortable so they can best demonstrate their musical knowledge.
